  Ministry to Students in Grades 7-12 and College Students

Our Student Ministry exists to REACH teenagers with the love of Christ, to help them to GROW in their faith to CONNECT them with other believers,  to equip them to SERVE others and to CELEBRATE Christ.

 Audio – Visual Team
Interested in learning to run the sound & lights for student and congregational events – then this is for you. Members of the church Audio-visual team will train you – for some this might become a career!

Campus Missionary
Campus Missionaries are students who are committed to making a difference on their school campus. Campus Missionaries help lead other students to plan and participate in events like See You at The Pole. They also help plan and sometimes lead on campus Bible Study Groups.  Training and materials are provided for all Campus Missionaries.

Child Care Team
Assist with childcare as requested by the Preschool and Children’s Ministries. Members of this team are required to complete the Red Cross Babysitters course in order to be recommended by the Student Ministry.  Students must also complete the application and screening process established by the preschool and children’s ministry.

Construction Ministry
In partnership with the Baptist Men of our church – students in this ministry work to provide wheel chair ramps, and home repairs for people who are unable to do so for themselves.  Projects like roofing, painting, demolition, ramps, cleanup are done throughout the year.

Drama Team
If you can act, if you are creative, and like to be on stage...sign up - you can be a star!!

Greeters/Welcome
Are you outgoing and like meeting new people? If so, you could help us out! We need students for Sunday Mornings and Wednesday nights! It's Fun!

Handyman Ministry
Our handyman ministry provides assistance to members of our church family who need assistance with things around the home they are unable to do for themselves. Changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, rearranging furniture, raking leaves, moving the trash can to the street are some examples of how you can help.

Help for the Hurting
This ministry is a place to find support for students who struggle with hurting themselves. This is a place for support or to lend support.

IMPACT Team
Setup, greeters, games team, clean up! If you are willing to do any of these – we need you!

Missions Ministry Team
Assist the Student Ministry and Ministry Coordinators in planning and completing mission projects and experiences for students in our ministry.

New Connections Ministry
This ministry helps students get connected with other students by making phone calls & sending emails…and making new friends.

Office Work
If you like helping and serving others we could use your help in the student ministry office with paper work, phone calls, cards, letters, computer work, Student FAITH administration and more!

Prayer Ministry Team
This ministry prays for other students and encourages them with letters and phone calls. It meets every week and is very rewarding.

Promotion/Registration Team
Help promote events, enlist and register students to participate!

Student Choir
Student Choir is for students of all ages – no auditions required! A variety of music will be used to help students develop their talents!

Student FAITH
Equips students to reach their friends for Christ and helps them to learn the skills for ministering to the needs of teenagers!  Each team of three has at least one adult team member who serves to guide and encourage the team. Want to make a real difference in the lives of teenagers today? This is our process for equipping you!

Student Handbells
Come and learn to lead in worship with the beauty of handbells.

Student Instrumental Ensemble
Do you play an instrument? Then we can use you!

Student Leadership Team
Assist the Student Minister and Student Ministry Adult leaders in planning, evaluating, and leading our ministry to students.

Student Mentor
Mentor and encourage Jr. High students – help with planning and participation in the rising 7^th grade retreat - Juniors and Seniors Only!

Student Praise Team/Praise Band
Keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, percussion, vocals, sound!  Come use your talents and abilities to lead others in Celebration! Auditions required!

Video Team
Do you like to take pictures? Have a digital video cam? Like to make movies – or want to learn?

Web Team
Assist in keeping web site current and relevant to the lives of teenagers

World Changers
Meet the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and families through summer missions that provide a variety of opportunities for students. Construction, Backyard Bible Clubs, Sports Ministry, Creative Teams and more!  World Changers is a week long project, usually in the summer designed for students and leaders who will give a week of their time meeting needs.
