The Student Ministry of Aversboro Road Baptist Church has the desire to take young people and adults where they are and help them discover God’s plan for their lives through a meaningful and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The Student Ministry reaches out to students in Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12) and College with the challenge to accept and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Student ministry at Aversboro Road is designed to encourage students and parents through a variety of ministry opportunities. Worship, Bible study, discipleship groups, youth retreats, concerts, support groups, music, camps, recreation, missions and more.
IMPACT is our weekly meeting designed to help students discover how the Bible speaks to the real life issues faced by today’s teenagers! A variety of music, drama, video, multimedia, games, and creative teaching involve youth in learning! is an exciting mid-week, opportunity for students to come together for exciting Bible study that applies to the 21st century student.
The pressures and demands upon adolescents and parents today are great. With these demands come new challenges to stand for Christ and to make a difference in the world. The students at Aversboro Road will not be under-challenged in their daily walk with Christ, but instead will be offered opportunities to grow and demonstrate their love for Christ. They will be challenged and prepared to make a difference in our world for Christ.
Parents know the pressures and challenges of raising teenagers. Our Parents Of Teens support group offers regular opportunities for prayer, training, encouragement, and inspiration for the challenges of parenting today's teenagers. Conferences for parents are offered to address specific needs.
