| Although this was a Bible Study, I found myself taking a personnal inventory of my life, my ways, and my self centerness. I think taking this study helped me prepare for what was facing me. I also realized that being a Christian is not as hard as people try to make it out to be.

| The Men's Bible Study has given me the desire to be the person Dr. Whaley spoken about in the Sunday services, which is to be a Christian and not just a member of the church. Since I have been attending Aversboro and especially since I joined the Men's Bible Study, I feel like a spiritual surgery has been performed on me. I have a stronger desire to be the spiritual leader of my family and to do God's will each day. This study has been a powerful experience for me to be with strong men who will openly and honestly discuss their beliefs and feeling. It has become a safe haven to grow spiritually and develop relationships with other men. I am thankful to Dr. Whaley for leading this group and look forward to our future studies.

| "The need for Men's Ministry and fellowship has been a part of my life for about 5 years. This is something that I found missing in many of the Churches I visited and attended. Men need to stand up for Christ and share the word with their families, others in the church, and the community. Men need to depend on other Christian men for accountability, guidance, and mentoring. How better to prepare than with God fearing Christian brothers and the leadership of our Pastor who has a heart for men's ministry and a transparnet love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dr. Whaley's love for Jesus and his desire for men's ministry was so apparent to me. His desire is to motive and teach men to commit to a Risen Savior while spreading the love as the spiritual leader of their family as well as letting their light shine from within daily. As you build relationship you know you can call on any one in the group for biblical advice as well as someone to pray with you. I am truly blessed to b a part of the "Journeymen" and look forward to studying God's word together while building new relationships with fellow believers. Together we can change the world through Christ Jesus on person at a time.

I really have enjoyed becoming a part of the "Journeymen" Men's Bible Study group. The relationships have increased my devotion both to the word and it's application. I have enjoyed getting to know other men of the church. Dr. Whaley has a unique gift of really bringing out the basic biblical attributes that we as Christian men should be transforming into. I've also been blessed in getting to know him better. This is a tool that I feel God is and will use mightily to grow the spiritual life of our church and our community.

I am so blessed to be apart of a church that has a pastor that is passionate about the men of the church. It's great for me to be able to study God's word and then be able to discuss it with other men. It's also wonderful to be able to learn from other men and their experiences they have had in their life and realize that we share a lot of the same struggles and that I'm not alone. I'm grateful for all the friendships that have been cultivated during our times together. this year we named our class the "Journeymen" and I think it fits us perfectly. Our mission statement says it all, "A fellowship of men studying the Bible for the purpose of honoring God, leading their families and serving the Church.

God in his time takes each one of us down the path in which we are to go. He totally allows us as individuals to choose our path. I am grateful to be apart of a group of Journeymen with a leader who has chosen to follow his Lord and share his passion with other men in the church. Dr. Whaley is a brother to me and many other brothers within our church community. Getting closer to God and seeking his guidance in daily life and in my studies at this time has brought me into this great group of men. I challenge any brothre that desires to honor God and to know Him better by leading their families and serving their church to pray about ths part of their path towards God.
