Summer 2009 Events

Vacation Bible School is an opportunity for boys and girlsto be involved in fun, creative, life-changing Bible study.  VBS is for all preschoolers and children—in our church and in our community.  The date will be set soon; check back by for that information.

Kids' Trek, for 1^st-5^th graders, meets during the summer on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm.  Details coming in the spring about next summer's topics!

Summer M & M's meet during the summer on Wednesdays at 6:15 pm.  1^st-5^th graders can explore musical opportunities and be involved with missions.  Special outings are also a part of our summer Wednesday night program.

Summer Fun Days are all-day events filled with games, crafts, food, and outings!  These meet once or twice each month (depending on how many other things are going on!) for K - 5th graders.  Cost is based on the outing scheduled for that day.

Crosspoint is a Christian sports camp for boys and girls who have completed grades 4-5.  Children participate in Bible studies, worship experiences, special tracks (puppets, music, games, crafts, etc), and sports (flag football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, team handball, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, etc).  

Centri-Kid is a Christian camp for boys and girls who have completed grades 3-5.  A wide variety of tracks are offered (Praise Team, water sports, music, clowning, archery, jewelry making, creative painting, outdoor adventure, backpacking, messy games, team sports, creative movement, basketball, cheerleading, etc) as well as worship and church-group times each day. 

Camp CaRAway is a missions and recreational camp for boys ages 9 and above.  This NC Baptist camp is outside Asheboro.  Boys learn about missions, experience worship, and take part in canoeing, camping, archery, swimming, and many other activities.  Camp is held throughout the summer, so families may select the week that best meets their schedule. 

Mundo Vista  is a missions camp for girls who have completed grades 4-5.  This NC WMU camp is located outside Asheboro.  Girls meet missionaries, learn about being on mission, and participate in recreational and craft activities.  Camp is help throughout the summer, so families may select the week that best meets their schedule. 

The Raleigh Baptist Association provides a local Choir Day Camp for children who have completed grades 1-5 the week of June 22-25.  Children learn a musical which is presented on Thursday evening, and have the opportunity to learn to play a variety of instruments. This summer the camp will meet at New Hope Baptist Church in Raleigh.
